Every week when a new episode of Violet Evergarden gets released, the subreddit just blows up and receives endless praise. No other anime this season is comparable when a new episode is released. Then when someone asks what animes are worth watching this seasons, Violet Evergarden is not ranked very high. 1. Florac.
Which goes to show that 96% of the audience are gonna watch subs no matter how bad it gets. That number isn't entirely accurate because they're based on Kissanime comments on episode 10 and those numbers aren't a fair representation of the amount of people watching.
Option no. 3: Violet is the product of a forbidden union between a human man and the war goddess Garnet Spear a.k.a. "Violet." Upon her birth, the gods struck down her father and recalled her mother to the heavens, leaving demigod Violet stuck on an island fending for herself like an animal until the war broke out and Dietfried's men found her.
The whole problem of this movie is the fact that it’s anime original, this is the reason why everything is inconsistent, they straight up made a whole different ending to the series, as much as I love this series, Violet quitting her job, leaving her friends and family, just everything that made an emotional impact on her, she just leaves, and lives there until she dies?
If you are an anime fan, watch Violet Evergarden. If you are a fan of storytelling, watch the series, but whatever you do, don't watch, read or listen to any other related material (including the movie, manga and light novels). A unique masterpiece dissolves into cliche trash. 1.

The OST, specifically Across The Violet Sky, was the soundtrack that caught most people’s interest when the preview plays on Netflix. The OST and Visuals is what made Violet Evergarden the best animation of 2018; they come hand in hand if you ask me.
